Ferguslie Park is a residential suburb at the north-west extremity of Paisley in Renfrewshire, Scotland. It is bordered by the town of Linwood to the west and Glasgow Airport to the north.
Many areas of Ferguslie lack good green infrastructure and the benefits it would bring to people and wildlife. It is the ambition of the CCF project is to increase the urban across the whole of Glasgow City Region to 20%.
CCF will be planting trees in Ferguslie in the 2024/2025 planting season.
Ferguslie was selected because of the low canopy cover.
The combination of low canopy cover and data on deprivation from the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation indicates that these areas would be most at risk from climate events that can be mitigated by increased canopy cover.
Our aim is to plant up to 1000 trees across Ferguslie. Will you help us?
