Tree Wardens
The Clyde Climate Forest will soon begin a tree maintenance programme across the City Region to look after the more than 10,000 urban trees planted to date.
Our new Community Volunteer Coordinator will co-ordinate and manage a team of volunteer Tree Wardens, who will help in the creation and monitoring of tree planting projects, general maintenance and management of tree planting sites.
The program will form part of the Tree Councils UK wide Tree Warden Program with Future Woodlands Scotland providing 50% of the funding for this program for the next 3 years. Match funding is provided by Scottish Forestry, TCV, and GAT. The Community Volunteer Coordinator will be hosted by TCV and report back to each of the eight local authorities in the CCF area.
